The Heart Behind the Haul
Hope Haulers was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to bridge the gap between shelters and loving homes. We are experienced handlers that have mostly catered to the power breeds: Rottweilers, Dobermans, Shepherds... We've owned aggressive, non-adoptable dogs and know how much love they still have and want to give despite their disposition. We understand the needs that every animal has and the chance that they still deserve. We started by doing transports across state lines for a rescue that we volunteer and foster for; pulling dogs from high-kill shelters that were just hours away from euthanasia. We saw the drastic need for more transportation, more manpower, more involvement than what we were able to accomplish with the time that we had to give. What began as a local initiative has grown into a national network dedicated to preventing euthanasia and providing the safe, professional transport that rescues need.
We're often asked why our logo is a Rottweiler... well, that's simple! We have two beautiful Rotties that we rescued, we volunteer for a nationwide Rottweiler rescue, and our first ever Rotty was a rescued pup that became a SAR dog. His name was Duke. He was an amazing dog that started our journey and love for Rottweilers.
That does not mean that we cater only to the black and brown - Rottweilers just hold a special place in our life and home and they are the heart behind our logo.
